Frequently asked questions
Which devices are supported?
Ondia runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later. It works best on iPhone 13 or newer.
Does Ondia work offline?
Yes. Ondia downloads the speech model once. After that, transcription runs on your device without an internet connection.
Which languages are supported?
Ondia transcribes about 100 languages with Whisper Large V3 Turbo.
How do speakers work?
Ondia identifies speakers on your device, so you can tell who said what in a recording.
What is included in the free plan?
The free plan transcribes the first 3 minutes of every recording. Ondia Pro removes that limit. You can choose a monthly, yearly or lifetime plan.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open the Ondia paywall and choose Restore purchases. Purchases are linked to your Apple Account, so they restore on any of your devices signed in with that account.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open iOS Settings, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, select Ondia Pro and cancel.
Which export formats are available?
You can export to TXT, SRT, VTT, Markdown, PDF and Word.
Does Ondia have an Apple Watch app?
Yes. The Apple Watch app lets you start a recording from your wrist. Widgets show your latest notes.
